Mahogany Springs is situated in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and is the perfect base from which to begin you Gorilla Tracking or Bird watching adventures. The Gorillas have been known on occaison to visit the lodge and coming face to face with one of these peaceful creatures is an experience like no other.
Mahogany Springs is often described as a bird watcher’s paradise due to its wonderful location near the river that lies below the lodge. The huge terrace stretches around the front of the building with the sound of the river below and stunning forest views. There is a bar, living room, curio shop and dining facilities where guests have the opportunity to either dine inside or on the terrace.
The lodge is made up of superior suites, a honeymoon suite, a Presidential/Family suite which all have en-suite bathroom facilities and panoramic terraces.
